China Haohua Chemical (Group) Corporation!

Established in 1955,Bejing Research and Design Institute of Rubber Industry, as a national level scientific research and engineering design-integrated and rubber tyre-oriented unit, formed earliest in establishment and largest in scale in China’s rubber industry, engages mainly in research and development on rubber raw materials, tyre, rubber goods, rubber machinery and equipment, and testing instrument; physical and chemical testing, finished tyre product quality supervision and testing, and preparation and revision of the national standards for rubber tyre; as well as engineering design, engineering consultancy, and engineering supervision and monitoring and so on. In 1999, the institute transformed to be a scientific and technical enterprise, as a part of China Haohua Chemical (Group) Co..

The institute has now a team of scientific and technical people(10 professor senior engineers, 78 senior engineers, and 68 engineers) with rich experience and high quality, and quite perfect testing instruments and facilities. Since establishment the institute has made great efforts in research, development and popularization on new products, new technologies, new materials and new equipments, and meeting the requirements for enterprise’s production and construction and industrial services, winning prizes more than 100 State level, Province and Ministry level for scientific and technical achievements. The institute has the State Council approved capacity to grant Master’s Degree of polymer material specialty since 1984; Our institute includes a National Rubber Tyre Quality Supervision and Testing Center approved by National Technical Supervision Bureau, a State Import and Export Commodity——Tyre Certification Testing Lab approved by National Import and Export Commodity Inspection Bureau, and a national science and technology achievement appraisal organization approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of PRC and National Technical Supervision Bureau; it houses Technical Committee-Rubber Group of the Chemical Engineering Society of China, National Tyre and Rim Standardization Technical Committee, National Rubber Industry Information Head Office and so on; it publishes the periodicals——《Rubber Industry》《Tyre Industry》《Rubber Science and Technology Market》《Rubber Chemicals》《Rubber Standard》 and so on. The institute has built the service net for rubber industry, as a stage for showing the development and progress of China’s rubber industry.

Reform and opening bring out new opportunity for the institute. In the 1980’s with domestic high-way development, the institute performed the important projects of the State——nylon bias ply tyre technical renovation and radial tyre development etc. to promote tyre industry’s technical progress and product updating. Since 1990’s the important development projects achievements of the State——“high speed and low resistance radial tyre production technical development”“normal high performance radial tyre production line”etc. has improved our institute’s radial tyre production technology with self-dominated intellectual property to a new level. At the same time, delightful achievements have been made in engineering consultancy and design, mechanical and electrical equipment research and development, and new type of rubber chemicals development and production. In 2002 the institute passed the ISO 9001:2000 quality control system certification,covering mechanical and electrical equipment and rubber chemicals development and production, and engineering services; in 2007 the extended certification covered now all scientific research, design and production business, and passed class 2 secret unit local auditing. The institute promote the technical progress in China’s rubber tyre industry with its outstanding scientific research achievements and capacity of continuous innovation, enjoying a high prestige and popularity at home and abroad.
